The 2013 Cupcake Ride is set for this Sunday beginning at 8 am. Although the premise seems somewhat counterproductive, you can use the “it’s for charity” excuse to justify your participation in this tasty event.
The family-friendly bike ride allows riders to choose between 2-mile, 5-mile, 10-mile, or 20-mile course options. Each participant will be able to enjoy post-ride cupcakes from Cupcake Charleston and coffee from the Atlanta Bread Company.
The cost is $10 per rider or $5 per youth (under 14). All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Riders should report to TrySports in Mount Pleasant (1708 Town Center Way) on the morning of the event.
