15th Annual Plantasia Scheduled for April 15 & 16

The Charleston Horticultural Society’s 15th Annual Plantasia, a plant sale and market, will be held on April 15th and 16th at Old Towne Creek County Park in West Ashley.

This year’s schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 15th
- 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Plantasia Eve Party
- Tickets: $35
- Attendees will have first access to purchasing plants
- Live bluegrass music from Yee Haw Junction
- Bites from Salthouse
- Specialty Plantasia cocktail by Firefly Distillery
- 2nd Annual Iron Trowel live window box design competition
- George Hyams of Hyams Garden Center will be honored
Saturday, April 16th
- 8 am – 4 pm: Plantasia Sale
- FREE admission
- “Unusual and cutting edge plants”
- Garden vendors
- Live garden and cooking demos
- Educational resources
- Farmers selling fresh produce
- Master Gardeners on site to provide garden advice and suggestions
- Food trucks
