Kitchen Karma is back at SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Mount Pleasant and Summerville. From now through Tuesday, October 31st, the restaurants will raise money to benefit SOS Lowcountry. The local nonprofit is a volunteer organization that supports breast cancer patients throughout South Carolina financially so they can focus on their recovery. They fund transportation costs, groceries, childcare, utility bills, wigs, and more for cancer patients. Through SOL’s Kitchen Karma program, $1 is donated for each purchase of select featured items during the fundraising period. The featured items for this partnership are Sol’s Pink Cocktails for a Cause: Be Brave Margarita, Miracle Mojito, Have Faith Lemonade, and Think Pink Cooler. “We believe strongly in the communities we serve and want to continue to support them,” said owner David Clark. “We are excited that our Kitchen Karma program can do just that. By choosing SOS Lowcountry as our non-profit this October, we hope to help them continue to enhance the quality of life for breast cancer patients in South Carolina.” For more information on SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar and the Kitchen Karma program, visit SOLSouthwestKitchen.com.
