Berkeley County Library System (BCLS), in collaboration with Moncks Corner Farmers Market, invites customers to visit the Mobile Library beginning April 13th, 2023 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Moncks Corner Farmers Market, 418 East Main Street, Moncks Corner from April to September. The Mobile Library will be present on Thursdays during the same hours as follows: April 13th, May 11th, June 8th, July 20th, August 17th, and September 14th.

“The Berkeley County Mobile Library will be attending the Moncks Corner Farmer’s Market one Thursday per month starting in April,” said Elizabeth Baker, Mobile Outreach Specialist. “The community is welcome to stop by, pick up a children’s take-home craft, sign up for a library card if you don't already have one, and choose from books, movies, and more to check out.”
The Mobile Library is a full-service library which offers numerous resources and materials to customers by providing access to library services in the rural areas of Berkeley County and to citizens who face obstacles in accessing resources. Materials available for checkout include laptops, free Wi-Fi service, Kajeet Hotspots, Playaway Audiobooks, Wonderbook & VOX audio-enabled books, audiobooks, CDs DVDs, kids learning tablets. Digital resources include Libby e-books, audiobooks, and hoopla movies, music and magazines. The Mobile Library also offers printing and copying services, reference assistance, and children’s take-home crafts.
