Traffic Alert: Camp Road Sidewalk and Riverland Drive Multiuse Path

On Monday, March 6th, construction crews will close the eastbound lane on Camp Road from Noble Oak Way to Bryant Road. The lane will be closed from 9 am to 2 pm while crews pour concrete.

The Camp Road Sidewalk and Riverland Drive Multi-use Path Project includes the installation of a new 6-foot-wide sidewalk along Camp Road, from Camp Road Middle School to Riverland Drive, and a new 10-foot-wide multi-use path along Riverland Drive to the Lowcountry Senior Center. Construction is scheduled to continue through September of this year.

The project is a Charleston County Transportation Committee (CTC) project that is funded by state gas tax “C” funds and federal grant funding.
