The City of Charleston today announced that the Charleston Farmers Market at Marion Square will resume at full capacity on Saturday, April 8th and continue through November 25th. The market will be open each Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm.
The vendor roster includes roughly 70 farmers and growers, prepared and packaged food offerings, and artisan crafts. Each market will also feature live music by local artists.
Leading up to opening day, a limited farmers market will operate at Marion Square in March, weather permitting, on March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 8 am to 2 pm, with farmers and growers, artisanal food products, and prepared foods. There will be no market on Saturday, April 1st due to the Cooper River Bridge Run.
Details of Holiday Market dates in December will be posted on charlestonfarmersmarket.com and via social media.
Meanwhile, the West Ashley Farmers Market (WAFM) will resume on Wednesday, April 19th at Ackerman Park from 3 pm to 7 pm, continuing each week through October 25th.
