Michael Toscano, the chef/owner of downtown Italian restaurant Le Farfalle on Sunday announced that the da Toscano Porchetta Shop pop-up will soon have its own brick and mortar location on the peninsula. Toscano said the shop will be moving into the former home of Gnome Café at 109 President Street.
da Toscano Porchetta Shop plans to open in the Spring of 2023 and will serve breakfast and lunch daily. The eatery is expected to have focaccia sandwiches, rotisserie meats, vegetables, salads, espresso drinks, beer, and wine. You can follow the shop’s progress on Instagram or at dtporchetta.shop.
The pop-up shop debuted at Le Farfalle in November of last year. Gnome Café closed in September of 2022.
