Press Release
The team of lawyers from Poulin | Willey | Anastopoulo continued their fight on behalf of clients who purchased JIF® & J.M. Smucker Company products from the contaminated Lexington, KY facility. The firm was one of the first in America to file a lawsuit against the company when it did so last month. Since that time the firm has filed with courts in multiple districts where J.M. Smucker allowed contaminated products to enter the marketplace. To date the firm has filed lawsuits in federal courts in the Eastern District of Kentucky, the Northern District of Ohio, and the District of South Carolina.
The latest is the South Carolina class action complaint [which is attached to this release] which was filed on behalf of Charleston resident, Cameron Bopp.
“We are honored to represent Mr. Bopp in his case against JM Smucker Company for selling peanut butter that was manufactured in a contaminated facility to him. As always we will pursue this matter with a results oriented approach to reach the best outcome for Mr. Bopp and the putative class,” said the firm’s partner, Roy T. Willey IV.
The firm is also investigating injury cases for those diagnosed with salmonella after eating JIF® peanut butter or peanut butter products.
Anyone who has been diagnosed with salmonella after consuming JIF® products, should visit JiRecall2022.com where they can obtain more information and fill out a claim information form.
