Crush Yard, a pickleball club and restaurant, is planning to open in Mount Pleasant sometime between this fall and winter. Located off Highway 17 at 3365 S. Morgans Point Road, the business will combine the sport of pickleball with a laid back eatery.
The nearly 40,000-square-foot space will feature eight indoor pickleball courts, as well as other activities like shuffleboard. There will also be an outdoor space for guests to lounge around fire pits, listen to live music, and/or play yard games like cornhole and giant Jenga.
After hitting the courts, guests can order food and drinks from a menu that is expected to include items like BBQ, lettuce wraps, house-made cotton candy, and more.
Crush Yard also plans to have an app for guests to pre-book courts and order their refreshments. Self-serve kiosks will also be available throughout the space for on-site ordering, along with self-pour beer, wine, and soda.
Annual and month-to-month memberships will be offered, which could earn guests freebies like complimentary drinks, snacks, and merchandise. Members will also have the opportunity to enter tournaments where they'll be matched up with players of similar skill levels, and will have court booking preference.
Holy City Sinner will be sure to share more information once it’s available.
