A local casting agency is currently a ccepting submissions for those interested in working as paid extras on the upcoming third season of The Righteous Gemstones, a HBO series starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, and Adam DeVine. The agency says the production is seeking people of all backgrounds and ages to film at various times from mid-June through mid-December.
Tona B. Dahlquist Casting says “t housands of extras will be needed this season” and all extras will be paid. Vaccinations are not required this year, but all extras will be required to have one pre-filming COVID test that will be provided by production

Submissions should be sent to TRG2extras@gmail.com with subject being “Age, Ethnicity, Gender, City/State (you reside)” (example: 45, Asian, Male, Charleston, SC). Submissions should also include two current photos (one close-up and one full-length). These photos can be taken with a cell phone and should reflect your current hair length, hair color, facial hair status (males), and overall appearance. Interested parties should also include name, phone, age, city/state you reside, height/weight, complete clothing sizes (to include shoe size), description of any visible tattoos and piercings, and the color/make/model/year of the vehicle you drive.

The Righteous Gemstones, is a half-hour comedy series created by McBride, who wrote, directed, executive produced, and acted in the show. The first two seasons were predominately filmed in the Charleston area. The series tells the story of the world famous Gemstone televangelist family, which has a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
