Women Entrepreneurs Inc. (WE Inc.) will host their Spring Speaker Series event on April 7th, 2022, with a 5th-anniversary celebration to follow, live from Firefly Distillery.
The organization was founded in 2017 by Melissa Barker, who, after starting her entrepreneurial journey, found herself needing help and advice from experts without much to repay them.
“I decided to create a platform where women entrepreneurs could ‘opt in' to giving and getting help,” said Barker. “The concept wasn't to impress each other or transform each other into buyers. Instead, it would be an easy way to get access to each other and leverage our collective knowledge, resources, and networks.”
Today, WE Inc. connects women entrepreneurs from all over the world. They make it easy for members to help each other while providing opportunities for partnerships, speaking engagements, press coverage, awards, and grants.
On April 7th, WE Inc.'s very first event speaker, Caroline Nuttall, will take the stage once again as the keynote speaker for their Spring Series event. Founding members will be honored, members will have a chance to share about their latest project or passion, and all attendees will meaningfully connect during the event.
This one-of-a-kind gathering features gifts from WE Inc.'s product partners, including Yeti, Conair, and The Body Shop, a giveaway from Dragonfly Gifting, and food and beverage pop-ups from local women-owned businesses including local favorite, The Muffin Drop.
An anniversary celebration will follow the main event, including a dance performance by Jenny Broe Quinn's Dance Lab, a women-owned pop-up market featuring 15+ vendors, live music from Brittany Opperman, signature cocktails and mock-tails by Firefly, and more.
