Local Southern indie rock band Brave Baby just released a new single called “Standard Deviation,” a follow up to the band's 2021 release “Blue Year.”
The band says the new song “came to be when there were tensions among friends, when it seemed like our little microcosm of a world was unraveling. It's about how small infractions can leave permanent marks, even though no one can really remember what the disagreement was about in the first place.” Fans can stream “Standard Deviation” now at https://onerpm.link/
The Charleston-based quintet have been performing since 2012. Their debut album, Forty Bells, and its successor, Electric Friends, were well-received by fans up and down the East Coast. They toured heavily and played sets at major festivals and premiere clubs across the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast regions.
Their songs have been licensed for use in film and television including an international UGGs ad campaign and the Showtime series The Affair.
