Beginning on Monday, January 3rd, several Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) branches will expand their evening and/or weekday operating hours.
The following branches will now operate from 9 am to 8 pm, Monday – Thursday, which is one hour longer than their previous schedule:
- Baxter-Patrick James Island
- Bees Ferry West Ashley
- Cynthia Graham Hurd/St. Andrews
- John’s Island
- Main Library
- Otranto Road
- St. Paul’s Hollywood
- Wando Mount Pleasant
The Mt. Pleasant and Dorchester Road libraries remain temporarily closed for renovation construction. They will follow the above operating schedule once they reopen. For updates, visit ccpl.org/construction.
In addition, the McClellanville and Edisto Island libraries will now be open on Wednesdays from 2 pm to 6 pm. These branches had previously been closed entirely on Wednesdays.
Hours at other CCPL branches will remain unchanged. The Village Library will continue to operate with curbside services only. Note that operating hours at these branches vary.
