SeamonWhiteside (SW+), a civil engineering and landscape architecture firm, on Tuesday announced its Marketing Manager, Lia Contursi (right), as the newest board member of the local nonprofit Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina.
Lia's previous experience as a mentor with Be a Mentor and her passion to educate the younger generation led her to join Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina and support its mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. She will be teaching courses that promote financial capability, work and career readiness, and business ownership. Lia joined the SeamonWhiteside team in 2013 and has been fundamental in land planning and marketing as well as founding their most recent Women's Initiative along with five other members.
