Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails is once again hosting a Halloween Takeover throughout the month of October. The bar will be serving Halloween-themed cocktails while the restaurant will be transformed into a haunted haven for ghost, ghouls, witches, and goblins to mingle among the living. Plus, Handcraft’s Halloween Bash will take place on October 30th.
In addition to their Halloween-themed cocktails, Handcraft has chosen to give back to their community with their featured cocktail, the Boozy Suzy, by donating $2 of each one sold to SOS Lowcountry. There will also be a fundraising event hosted on Handcraft’s patio, sponsored by Brown Forman, the parent company of Woodford’s Whiskey, on Sunday, October 17th that will consist of a cocktail hour and raffle starting at 5 pm, followed by a guided whiskey tasting of 4 different types of whiskey at 6 pm led by local expert Krystal Hasleden. The theme of the tasting will be “Women in Whiskey,” which highlights the women who are in leading roles in the Whiskey industry. Tickets to the event can be purchased on Handcraft’s website and will include a welcome cocktail, appetizers, and the whiskey tasting. $10 of each ticket purchased will be donated to SOSLowcountry. The funds raised will be used to provide assistance to breast cancer patients with everyday needs such as wigs, prosthetics, childcare, gas cards, utility bill assistance, medication assistance and more.
