Buxton Books will host a book signing with local author Paul Attaway (right) on Saturday, October 9th from from 1 pm to 3 pm. He will be celebrating the release of his debut novel, Blood in the Low Country, which takes place in Charleston.
Blood in the Low Country is a Southern family mystery that takes place in the year 1973. Brewing beneath the surface of the Atkins family's seemingly wonderful life, lurks a conspiracy of lies about who they are and what they believe. When a brutal murder and a shocking betrayal turn their world upside down, protagonist Monty Atkins' faith in God and in everything he holds true is stretched to the breaking point.
Attaway was born and raised in Atlanta and currently lives in Charleston with his wife.
