Patois is hosting a community remembrance event for owner Linda Hancock (right), who recently passed away.
Starting at 5 pm tonight, Patois will be hosting the community for snacks, cocktails, and conversation to celebrate her life at her favorite restaurant. Donations to her favorite nonprofit Pet Helpers will be accepted, and there will be a poster board where people are encouraged to write their favorite memories with Linda.
In addition, Pink Cactus will host an event to honor Linda next Sunday (9/26) from 5 pm to 8 pm, offering Linda’s favorite foods (margs and tacos). They will also be accepting donations to Pet Helpers and sharing memories.
Patois is located at 652 St Andrews Blvd . in West Ashley. Pink Cactus is located at 100 A Spring Street in downtown Charleston.
