Tattooed Moose, home of the popular Mike's Famous Duck Club as seen on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, will be moving their downtown location to Park Circle. The new spot will be located at 4845 Chateau Ave, one block off East Montague, and is expected to open in mid-November.
The warehouse previously housed King of Pops, practice spaces, and more. The outside features a mural by local artist Patch Whisky that will be kept.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said the new location will feel similar to the Johns Island restaurant, with a large indoor space, garage doors that open over the bar, and periodic live music under the large oak tree. There will be a stage inside and one outside for local and touring musical acts.
The downtown Tattooed Moose will stay open two weeks prior to Park Circle opening, so there is still plenty of time to visit. The downtown location is located at 1137 Morrison Drive.
