Smoky Oak Taproom last week announced on social media that they will be closing after 13 years on James Island. Their last day of business is Sunday, June 6th.

Owner Rick Agius posted the following on the Smoky Oak Facebook page:

“It’s been one hell of a ride! 13 years of Smoky Oak Taproom! This place holds some of the best memories of my life and I have built lifelong friendships. I even met my fiancé here!

HUGE thanks to the staff and customers that have become like family and helped make Smoky Oak what it is! With every ending comes a new beginning!

I can’t wait for you to see what we have coming next. Smoky Oak’s last day will be Sunday, June 6th. Join us this weekend and enjoy a cold one on the deck. We will see you soon!”

Smoky Oak is located at 1234 Camp Road.
