Aaron Siegel and Taylor Garrigan of Home Team BBQ, Anthony DiBernardo of Swig & Swine, and Robert Moss, the Contributing BBQ Editor for Southern Living, have invited the leaders of the barbecue community from around the country to come together in North Charleston on November 13th, 2021 for the Holy Smokes Lowcountry Barbecue Festival, an event celebrating the culture, history, and traditions of American barbecue. The event will raise funds and awareness for families affected by pediatric brain cancer through the support of Hogs for the Cause.
The festival will be held at The Bend and includes live music, food, drinks, and more. Guests will have a chance to sample a range of barbecue styles and sides. Attendees can expect to taste slow smoked whole hog, pork and beef ribs, Texas-style brisket, smoked sausage, BBQ tacos, and more.The full list of the guest pitmasters and cooks will be announced at a later date.

The Bend is located at 3775 Azalea Drive in North Charleston. The event will run from 11 am to 4 pm.
