Ma’am Saab, the Pakistani restaurant inside Workshop (and coming soon to Meeting Street), just released a limited-edition merchandise line featuring t-shirts, leggings, pillows, beach towels, water bottles, mugs, phone cases, and socks.
The merchandise exalts Ma’am Saab’s Chef and mastermind Maryam Ghaznavi, with its Ma’am Saab signature stamp designs, and illuminates her and her husband Raheel’s spirited style in and out of the kitchen. The line also celebrates the popular Samosa Chaat snack (Veg Punjabi Samosa dressed with Lahori cholay, onions, cilantro and sauces) featured on their menu, while paying tribute to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time – Pink Floyd.
“Ma’am Saab is about being more than just a restaurant,” Ma'am Saab's Creative Director and Head of Marketing Raheel Gauba- who also owns his own photography studio- Fia Forever Studios – said. “Maryam and I are heavily influenced by the arts. Visual arts, fashion and music are an important part of our lives, and we wanted to create something that represents us all.
When designing our merch, we looked for touch points to generate curiosity, create excitement, and most importantly, spark something unexpected. It's about showing individuality- a bit of rock and a bit of roll. We plan on introducing new limited edition drops in the future, so stay tuned!”
The merchandise ranges in price from $18-45. Guests may shop Ma’am Saab’s online store or purchase items in person at Workshop located at 1503 King St. Ma’am Saab is open Tue.- Wed. 4-8 pm, Thurs. 4-9 pm, Fri.- Sat. 12-9 pm and Sun: 12-7 pm.
