The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) on Sunday night announced that the St. Paul’s Hollywood Library is temporarily closed following a staff member testing positive for COVID-19.
Per CCPL’s response protocols, the library will be cleaned and sanitized by a certified third-party contractor. The book drop/return at the library is also closed during this time. Also, all employees known to have come into contact with COVID positive individuals are being notified and self-quarantine guidelines are being followed.
CCPL says they continue to work with DHEC, and follow CDC guidelines, to ensure that all best practices are implemented in their service models to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect their staff and patrons.
Once staff have been notified and the cleaning is complete, the library will reopen to the public. For operating updates, visit ccpl.org or, follow CCPL on social media, or call 843-805-6930.
