This is the last weekend to combine grocery shopping with helping two of the Tri-County's most-respected names: The Salvation Army and Trident United Way, serve our community by “rounding up” at your local Harris Teeter store.
The concept is simple, shoppers round up a purchase to the nearest dollar with all proceeds split evenly between The Salvation Army and Trident United Way. Every penny stays here in the Tri-County.
The program runs now through Tuesday, Nov. 1 7 at all 18 Harris Teeter Tri-County region stores. Bringing together two charitable leaders like the Salvation Army and Trident United Way, Harris Teeter is proud to continue its tradition of neighborhood service and community leadership.
The program is meant in part to help augment reduced Salvation Army red kettle locations due to COVID-19 precautions while helping Trident United Way's increased demand for assistance.
