The Gin Joint is offering private one-hour cocktail classes for up to 12 guests, with the option to extend the class by the half hour.
Cocktail lovers can turn into mixologists during an intimate session at the city’s first craft cocktail bar. The private classes are recommended for couples, but are capped at 12 people, allowing for a more personalized experience with the staff.
Each class is personalized to the skillset of the guest. The Gin Joint can provide a specialty cocktail menu during the class to help facilitate an easy transition for first-time drink makers, while other class options have a more laid-back style for the expert bartender.
Private cocktail classes can be scheduled from 11 am to an hour before the bar opens, which varies based on weekdays and weekends. Pricing for private cocktail classes start at $200 per hour per couple and can be extended by the half hour.
Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, and a small selection of food offerings will be provided.
“These private classes are really just meant to be whatever the guest wants them to be,” owner Wells Bolt said. “Whether that’s learning the building blocks for cocktail making, making the best old fashioned their brother has ever had, or learning more about how to work with a specific spirit they love.”
