South Philly Steaks, a new restaurant concept, has opened on the peninsula inside Workshop, the exploratory food court at 1503 King Street.
Owners Lynnora Hobart and Joshua Hill, who are originally from Philadelphia and New York, say they are introducing their unique take on the flavors and recipes from the north to the south. South Philly Steaks specializes in creating authentic Philly cheesesteaks and homemade Italian/American cuisine like chicken parm dippers, garlic parmesan truffle fries, penne alla vodka and more.
