Post House, a historic restaurant and inn at 101 Pitt Street in the Old Village neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant, announced it will be open and accepting dinner reservations this Saturday, August 22nd.
Kate and Ben Towill of Charleston-based design and hospitality firm, Basic Projects, in October 2019 announced their plans for re-opening an updated version of the restaurant and inn after it closed in February 2019.
The Post House is a neighborhood landmark that was built in 1896 as a private residence and retail store. The existing space, which previously housed The Old Village Post House, features a downstairs restaurant and upstairs boutique inn, and underwent an extensive renovation over the last year.
You can see what will be on the restaurant’s menu here. To make a reservation, you can call 843-203-7678.
The Post House says the inn’s seven rooms can be booked beginning on Monday, August 24th. You can learn more here.
