Middleton is a local activist who has been involved with the Poor People Campaign; Need To Impeach; Sea Island Progressive Club; Charleston Justice Area Ministry; International Justice Ministry; Sea Island Ministry Alliance; Charleston Area Democrat Women as Vice President; Charleston County Democrat Party in Executive Leadership; Democrat Delegate; Democrat Organizer of rural areas; St Johns High School PTSA President; and St Johns High School Athletic Chair.
As State Representative for District 116, Ms. Middleton would like to accomplish four goals:
- Fix Highway Infrastructure
- Expand Public Transportation
- Advocate for Criminal Justice Reform
- Advocate for Educational Reform
