Dellz Uptown announced on Instagram that it is closing its location on Rutledge Avenue today. However, the beloved team will not be gone for long as they plan to open a new venture called Maudellz Lifestyle Cafe in West Ashley this spring.
Owner Maudell Grayson had the following to say on Instagram about her new venture:
“It's simple, I'm creating this space because I need it…I want to slow down but I'm NOT retiring, I'm reconnecting…and in this next venture I want to help others do the same…”
To get your last fix of Dellz Uptown, visit the restaurant today from 11 am to 3 pm, or 5 pm to 8 pm. The eatery is located at 511 Rutledge Ave .
Dellz, which has had several locations over the years, was best known for their smoothies and vegan/vegetarian dishes like the Jazzy Pizza.
