GOCO Events, the organizers behind the popular Bacon and Bourbon celebration, this afternoon announced that they had to postpone their event, which was scheduled to take place tonight at the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston.
In a statement posted to Facebook, GOCO Events said SLED informed them this morning that Bacon and Bourbon could not operate “under the liquor license of the venue as planned.” The organizers went on to say that they “tried everything to fix this,” but will be unable to do so in time for tonight.
GOCO Events also said they are working on a new date and will let tickets holders know as soon as they have one scheduled. To see their full statement, click here, or look below:
