Virgil Kaine Lowcountry Whiskey Co. and Revelry Brewing Company invites the public to celebrate the fruits of their fall partnership. Their collaboration resulted in Virgil Kaine’s limited release “Electric Owl” Bourbon finished in Revelry Wild Farmhouse Ale barrels and Revelry Brewing’s “Oh My Darling” Barrel Aged Scotch Ale finished in Virgil Kaine whiskey barrels.
Virgil Kaine founders David Szlam and Ryan Meany will be on site pouring free samples of Virgil Kaine’s Electric Owl, a nine-year Sour Mash Whiskey that has been barrel finished in barrels that first hosted pinot noir from the Willamette Valley and then Revelry’s Farmhouse Ale. The flavor profile includes caramel tones with notes of tart cherry and a touch of salt, giving it a first of its kind finish.
