Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park has long been known to have one of the best fields in the country. For example, the grounds crew has won awards for their fantastic work. However, it may be time for the rest of the stadium to receive some accolades.
The Charleston RiverDogs, The Citadel, and the City of Charleston partnered with TSE and Toshiba to upgrade the technology at stadium. The updates include a brand new video board and scoreboard with instant replay capabilities and live video streaming.
According to the RiverDogs organization, the new video display in right field is wide screen (16:9 ratio), features more than one million LED lamps, and will provide 1,032 square feet of viewing area. The video board is one of the largest in all of Minor League Baseball.
Tickets for RiverDogs home games are available by phone at 843-577-DOGS (3647) or online at www.riverdogs.com.
