CHARLIE is introducing augmented reality technology in their latest print edition. Readers who pick up the Charlie: The Interactive Issue In, can scan an interactive page of the magazine using a free application and watch as the page “comes to life.” Video ads will virtually display via the mobile device and feature interviews, audio, social media links and more can be unlocked.
CHARLIE: The Interactive Issue will be unveiled tonight at a launch event at the Charleston Digital Corridor (78 Alexander St.) from 7 pm – 10 pm. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased here. The issue will be available locally for free in the coming weeks or it can be purchased here.
