Fort Dorchester Elementary School needs your help and it couldn’t be any easier to support them! The school is participating in Power a Bright Future, a program put on by Clorox. The company will be giving out grants to support educational programs to five lucky schools. Winners are (at least partially) determined by text message votes.
That means you can vote every day for Fort Dorchester and it won’t cost you a thing (except your normal text message charges). The school is trying to purchase new technology products and improve it’s playground equipment. To vote for the school, just send “clorox3776” (without the quotes) in a text message to 44144. It’s that easy!
For more details on the school’s goals and the Power a Bright Future program, click HERE.
Full disclosure: I have a friend who works at FDES, so I do have a rooting interest in that school winning. There are actually a couple other local schools on there as well, so vote as you see fit!
