Michael B. Moore, a Democrat running for the U.S. House of Representatives in South Carolina's 1st congressional district, announced today that his campaign finished the month of January with $113,858.49 cash on hand.
In the first month of the new year, the campaign raised a total of $45,190.28 from 723 new contributions. Of the campaign's 678 individual donors in January, 485 (more than 70 percent) were first-time contributors to the campaign.
"Our campaign is beginning this election year with a burst of momentum, building on our impressive fourth-quarter fundraising and earning new supporters across SC-01," said Moore. "In the months ahead, we're going to continue growing our grassroots movement by sharing our hopeful vision for the future of this swing district."
Moore's fundraising announcement comes after his campaign reported raising $117,253 in the fourth quarter of 2023.
