The 2024 Statewide Primaries are taking place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 and voters are being reminded to check their assigned polling location, as some have changed for this election.
The following polling location changes will be in effect for the statewide primaries:
- St. Andrews 10, 14 at Pinecrest Baptist Church moved to: Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary School - 1871 Wallace School Road
- St. Andrews 22, 23 at Old St Andrew’s Parish Church moved to: Montessori Community School - 2120 Wood Avenue
- McClellanville at Lincoln High School moved to: New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church - 635 Pinckney Street
Voters may find their assigned polling location, as well as view a sample ballot and locate other information on elections in Charleston County, by visiting CHSVotes.gov.
Polls are open from 7 am until 7 pm on Election Day.
Those who are voting absentee must ensure their completed absentee ballot is received by our headquarters, located at 4340 Corporate Road in North Charleston, by 7 pm on Election Day.
Live election results will be updated throughout Election Night through SCVotes.gov after the polls close.
The Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections (BVRE) is responsible for conducting all municipal, state, and federal elections that are held in Charleston County. BVRE also conducts outreach events with community members that encourage election education and participation.
