Charleston County Public Works will provide an update on the Palmetto Commerce Interchange Project at a community meeting on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at Northwoods Gym and Community Center at 6 pm. The community center is located at 8348 Greenridge Road.
Project managers will review the scope of the project, work completed so far, and what residents can expect in the next three months of construction. This meeting will include a presentation at 6 pm and will not be a drop-in style meeting.
The Palmetto Commerce Interchange project will reduce travel times, improve access options, increase traffic mobility in the I-26/Ashley Phosphate Road area, and provide a more efficient commute. Construction began in August and substantial completion is expected in early 2026.
