The Mills House’s rooftop pool and Terrace Bar is now open for the summer season. Overlooking downtown’s Meeting and Queen Streets, The Terrace Bar has debuted a new menu with craft cocktails (including Frosé) and après-swim bites.
The Terrace Bar is open to both hotel guests and visitors everyday from 11 am to 9 pm. They are offering a menu of seasonal dishes like an Adult Lunchable, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Watermelon Salad, BBQ Shrimp Tacos, and a Smoked Turkey Wrap, along with signature cocktails, wines by the glass, craft beers, frozen drinks, and sweet treats.
While lounge chairs, umbrellas, and pool access are reserved for hotel guests only, visitors and residents can reserve a poolside cabana for the day, offering comfortable seating for up to 6 people and exclusive bar service.
In other hotel news, local artist Rebecca Meixner is back by popular demand at The Mills House with the re-opening of her Rebecca Illustrated Shop on the hotel’s ground floor. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, visitors can browse her custom and vibrant watercolor designs ranging from coastal landscapes to wedding stationary and more. Featured artwork includes prints, mugs, tote bags, and custom Mills House-designed merchandise by Meixner, all available for purchase.
