A Columbia-based restaurant has announced their plans to open a new location in North Charleston. Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles posted on social media that their third location will be found in the Gas Lite Square Shopping Center at 5623 Rivers Ave.
Owned by Kitwanda “Kiki” and Tyrone Cyrus, Kiki’s first opened its doors in 2012 and has been serving homemade soul food dishes ever since. Unsurprising, the restaurant is best known for their signature dish - four fried chicken wings on top of a warm Belgian waffle (pictured below). They also serve items like fried green beans, sweet cream corn nuggets, smothered pork chops, salmon patties, desserts, and more.
No opening date for the North Charleston location has been announced yet. You can learn more on their website.
