Carolina Children’s Charity's 12th Annual Oyster Roast
On Thursday, February 29th, Carolina Children’s Charity (CCC) will partner with Water’s Edge located at 1407 Shrimp Boat Lane on Shem Creek for their 12th Annual Oyster Roast with live and silent auctions to benefit Lowcountry children with birth defects and childhood diseases.
This family-friendly event being held at the Cabana Bar from 5 pm to 8 pm will support the local charity and its mission.The cost to participate is $30 in advance or $35 on the day of (based on availability). Children 12 and under are free. Tickets include: all-you-can-eat oysterrs, BBQ, Lowcountry Boil, and more. There will also be a cash bar with happy hour prices from 4 pm to 7 pm. Guests can also enjoy live music from Late For Dinner. Plus, community supporters can participate in a silent auction online and a live auction in person.
Carolina Children’s Charity was formed in 1987 to help local children diagnosed with a birth defect or childhood disease access items and services that are deemed medically beneficial or medically necessary. These items and services enhance their growth and development and allow children to maximize their potential. Through the years, the charity has provided more than 4.7 million dollars to special needs children in our community. Through grants provided by the charity, children have had the opportunity and support to learn to walk, talk, eat and play.
