Pow! Saturday is Free Comic Book Day at Multiple Area Shops

On Saturday, multiple area stores will be participating in Free Comic Book Day, an international event that celebrates comic books and the local shops that provide them to their communities.

This year’s celebration includes:

Captain’s Comics & Toys

8 am to 8 pm at 1209-D Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in West Ashley
Over 4,000 free comic books
- Everyone who attends will get 3 free comics from a selection of over 50 titles
- Highlighted titles include
  - DC Super Hero Girls
  - Avengers/Captain America
  - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Special
  - The Legend of Korra/Nintendo’s Arms
