Workshop, the “fancy food hall'” managed by Butcher & Bee Owner Michael Shemtov and Chef Jonathan Ory, recently announced the first tenant rotation with the launch of a new restaurant: Beech Test Kitchen.
To make way for the addition, existing concept JD Loves Cheese will be phased out. The grilled cheese, salad, and soup concept will end its run at Workshop in late-June, with a possible return in late 2017/early 2018.
Beech Test Kitchen will serve as a test space for the existing Beech restaurant where the team will try new recipes and dishes to eventually roll-out to their main location at 315 King Street. The kitchen will serve “health-focused offerings” including açaí bowls, poke bowls, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices. It launches the week of June 26th and should run through mid-August.
