The 2017 Charleston Comedy Festival, which will take place from January 18-21, will be headlined by Hannibal Buress and Jim Breuer.
Each comedian will perform at the Sottile Theatre on George Street. Plenty of other shows are expected to be announced at a later date, so stay tuned.
Hannibal Buress is a multi-talent who won the 2012 Comedy Central award for Best Club Comic and has been nominated for Emmy and WGA awards. He is also a series regular on Comedy Central's Broad City and Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show.
He currently has a comedy documentary (Hannibal
Takes Edinburgh) streaming on Netflix, and will appear on the big screen in the upcoming films Baywatch and Spiderman: Homecoming.
Buress will perform on Thursday, January 19th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available now.
Jim Breuer (right) is best known for his roles in Saturday Night Live and Half Baked. He has also appeared in numerous comedy specials on Comedy Central.
He currently hosts “Fridays with Jim Breuer,” a weekly radio show on Sirius XM.
Breuer will perform on Friday, January 20th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available now.
