Tickets for the 2016 edition of TEDxCharleston, which will be held at the Charleston Music Hall on October 19th, go on sale on August 23rd. This year’s event will explore the concept of Tipping Point in the community and around the world.
This year’s speakers will explore the concept of tipping points and how those ideas can ultimately create dramatic shifts and larger change.
Tickets will be $65 (plus a $2.50 processing fee) each, and can be purchased at www.tedxcharleston.org. Last year, the event sold out in under 12 hours.
This year, TEDxCharleston is offering financial aid scholarships to attend this year's event. Interested applicants should apply online at www.tedxcharleston.org before August 15th, 2016. Organizers have set a goal to provide scholarships for 10 percent of the audience.
TEDxCharleston also announced that Becca Barnet has been chosen as this year’s set designer. The Spartanburg native was a lead fabricator for the Madagascar Journey exhibit at the South Carolina Aquarium.
