On Sunday, May 22nd, the Holy City will crown its 2016 Burger Champion during Charleston’s first “Bands, Burgers, and Brews” Burger Throwdown. The event will be held at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
Attendees will be able to watch their favorite restaurants battle not just for the local title, but also a chance to compete in the World Burger Competition in November.
George Motz from the Travel Channel show “Burger Land,” and other culinary pros, will help decide Charleston's best burger. Motz is also the man behind the deliciously entertaining Food Film Festival tour, which has been to the Holy City in each of the last two years.
The Throwdown will also include live music, craft beer, and more. Tickets are $10, while food and beverage tickets are $1 each. Tasting Tickets are $1 for a 1/4 burger. Admission can be purchased here.
