The Charleston Parks Conservancy is hosting the 7th Annual Teddy Bear Picnic on March 6th at Hampton Park. Families are invited to picnic in the park while enjoying crafts, games, and entertainment. The event is free and runs from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm.
The event includes:
- Live music from John Cusatis
- Becky's Box of Puppets
- Homespun Hoops
- Dance Moves will lead hip hop dancing
- A Teddy Care Station for “injured” bears needing treatment and checkups
- Face painting
- Seed planting
- Cookie decorating
- Crafts
- Hula hooping
- Teddy bear parade.
Families are invited to bring a picnic lunch, blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon in the park. Food will be available for purchase from Dish & Design and King of Pops.
