On Tuesday, November 17th, Lee Lee's Hot Kitchen will host their latest guest chef mash-up dinner with Chef Josh Keeler from Two Boroughs Larder.
The downtown Chinese restaurant kicked off their quarterly dinner series last May with a sold out event that featured Chef Will Fincher from the Obstinate Daughter. In August, a packed house returned to greet guest chef RJ Moody from Spero. Each dinner features a menu highlighting the chefs’ culinary talents, but with a focus on Asian ingredients.
Chef Keeler, a James Beard Award finalist, will partner with Lee Lee's executive chef Jeff Cali to create a multi-course mash-up dinner featuring items like soup dumplings with fried bologna, Sichuan-smoked brisket with trumpet mushrooms, and a chilled noodle soup with pepper mash and local choys.
The dinner costs $70 and includes wine pairings. The event is limited to 16 seats and will likely sell out. Reservations can be made by calling Lee Lee's at 843.822.5337. The fun starts at 7 pm.
