HALOS, an organization that helps abused and neglected children and their caregivers, will host their 4th Annual Oyster Roast on Sunday, October 18th. The fundraising event will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm at Harborside East in Mount Pleasant.
Attendees will able to a relaxing afternoon full of oysters, beer, wine, chili, Brunswich stew, hot dogs, live music, and more. There will also be a raffle and children’s activities.
Tickets include all food and beverages and are available for $35 in advance and $45 at the door. Children 10 and under are admitted free. Click here to purchase tickets online.
HALOS, which was founded in 1997 by a child psychiatrist and pediatrician at the Medical University of South Carolina, provides resources and special opportunities to abused and neglected children and their caregivers through partnerships with faith-based and other community organizations.
