Komen Lowcountry Invites You to Swing For The Cure This Weekend

This Friday and Saturday, The Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen will host Swing for the Cure , a weekend fundraising event featuring golf and tennis tournaments, a cocktail reception, a silent auction, and an oyster roast and BBQ party. All proceeds will support the fight against breast cancer.

Here’s a look at the schedule:

Friday, October 2nd

Oyster Roast and BBQ Party at the Lettered Olive in Wild Dunes
- 6 pm – 8:30 pm
- Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple
  - Includes a food and two complimentary drinks

Saturday, October 3rd

Tennis and Golf Tournaments at the Wild Dunes Resort
- 12:30 pm – 7 pm
  - Tennis event is a team competition, but players can register individually
    - Each team will have a tennis pro from the Charleston area competing with them
    - Prizes will be given throughout the day.
  - The nine-hole golf tournament will be held on the Harbor Course at Wild Dunes
    - Field will be limited to 40 golfers
- Followed by a cocktail reception and a silent auction
- Tickets are $100 per person
