On Saturday, August 22nd, King Dusko, the arts-and-music boutique on upper King Street, will hold one last party before closing its doors. The hard-to-define business will shutter at the end of the month.
“The Last Dance for Dusko” is being billed as a celebration for all the local creators, talents, and community members that were a part of the venue’s two-year run. The event will include live music, food, and more.
The music lineup includes:
- Hermit’s Victory
- Billie Fountain
- Mckenzie Eddy & The Fire
- Mado Smith & The Phantoms
- Great Yankee
- She Returns From War
- Faline
- Rico and Miranda
- Diaspoura
Food from Dellz Uptown will be available to purchase.
Also, Crosby Jack will be in attendance to create the last graffiti mural during the performances and Taylor Epps will be available for live portrait drawings.
