This Saturday, Mellow Mushroom Avondale is hosting a throwback matinee movie screening of the 1984 classic The Neverending Story. The event will run from 10 am until 12 pm.
During the movie, kids can enjoy a pizza slice or a pretzel, with apple slices and a drink for $5. Adults can enjoy $2 mimosas, and anything off the regular menu.
The Neverending Story is a fantasy film based on Michael Ende’s novel of the same name. The movie is about a troubled boy that travels into a fantasy world through the pages of a magical book.
